Teams are eligible to purchase USSSA team insurance for $89 per season (optional).  Teams must be a current USSSA member in order to purchase insurance. USSSA Membership is $25 annually from August 1st until July 31st.

Important Policy Features

• Only USSSA registered teams may purchase this insurance.

• USSSA insurance is optional to all current USSSA member teams. The cost is $89 per year (August 1st - July 31st). 

• Schools, churches, sports facilities in most all instances require teams to show proof of liability insurance prior to renting court space for practices or team activities. USSSA team insurance covers the play and practice of any amateur activity in the sport insured. Coverage begins at the time the online transaction is completed. The online transaction is complete when you receive a credit card confirmation number for your online transaction.

• General Liability coverage is provided for players, coaches, managers, sponsors, and volunteers of the team. $2 Million liability insurance coverage and $100,000 of medical accident insurance with a $100 deductible.

• Accident Medical Coverage is secondary to any other collectible insurance; primary if no other insurance is in force. The entire premium is earned upon policy issuance. There are no cancellation refunds.

• USSSA Insurance General Liability underwriters are rated "A" by Standard and Poors, "A+" Fitch, and "A" by A.M. Best. USSSA Insurance Participant Accident underwriters are rated "AA-" by Standard and Poors and "A+" by A.M. Best.
